Web software design is something we take personally. In our opinion a lot of web software design is too complicated. We don't see the upside of making software complicated. It should be simple. Programmers offer too many options and attempts to do too much on a web page. Not knowing what to do next leads to frustration of the user. Software doesn't need to be frustrating. Web Based Software, in contrast, is simple. It's simple because as veterans in the field of web software design, we know that manifesting a company in the cloud is difficult enough. We don't compound things with our software. We keep web software design simple, straightforward, and intuitive.

Ease of use is a high priority in web software design. We put the buttons and links where you'd expect them to be. That's how it should be. It is so easy to use that prior computer knowledge is not needed. Web software makes your life easier. It puts powerful tools in your hands. It gives you the data infrastructure to fly. There is no downside to going Web based. Here are the answers to some commonly asked questions:

Is the data backed up?

Yes. Our servers have redundant disk drives in a raid configuration. This means the data is written twice, once to each disk drive, immediately. If one drive were to fail, the other drive is still working. Then each night the data is backed up to another physical server, also with redundant drives forming a super secure data backup system. For an extra measure of protection the data is backed up to another physical location once a week.

Is the data safe?

Yes. Our systems use Microsoft's recommended system security. The server knows who you are. Every screen is checked (before it serves the page) to make sure you are who you say you are. If not you are kicked out and cannot access the page.

Where is the data held physically?

Data is hosted in an Internet hosting facility in downtown Los Angeles, California. We are hosted near the Wilshire One Building where the Internet piers on the West Coast. We chose this facility for speed and reliability. Our data center is located in an Internet building. The facility has backup power, redundant connections to the Internet, and is monitored 24 hours a day.

Can we export the data if we want?

Our systems come with a web to Microsoft Excel export function. You can download your data (at the click of a button) and load it up into Microsoft Excel. From there you can do whatever you want.

Can I keep certain people from seeing sensitive data?

Our systems are multi-user systems with a User Administration section. As the system administrator you have the top priority: user Level Five. As administrator you access people into the system by giving them a username and password. At that time you set their security level, one through five. Fives can go everywhere and do everything. Ones have a limited view.

Do we need any special equipment to run Web software?

No. All you need is a computer and connection to the Internet. Many software companies include client-side code in their systems. We don't. Client-side code is software that executes in the browser. It is generally used to trick the browser making it do something it isn't intended to do. While it can be neat in certain applications it also makes the system unreliable for certain browsers. Our software will run on any operating system and any browser. If you can get to the Internet you can run your system.

Can we install the software on our computers?

No. We don't offer user installable software. That's not what we do. Our products are remotely hosted freeing you from having to install anything. There are important reasons for this. We support our systems fully. Our systems function perfectly, all the time.

Can I get phone support if I need it?

Yes. However our systems are so user friendly training usually isn't required. The functions and buttons are exactly where they should be. The system does what you expect it to do. Our experience has been that once you become familiar with the software you have no problem using it. Should you have difficulty we would be happy to talk you through any problems you may be having.

Can you customize the software for us?

Yes, it is possible. Our software comes in a standard configuration. This is what most people want. If you come with something you have to have we have two choices. 1) If the change is something all our users can use, we may add it to the software free of charge. If the change is something specific to your company, there would be a programming charge. That being said, our systems are robust and address most business issues.

Are there any signup fees or other hidden fees?

No. Payments are based on when you sign up. There are no setup fees, per user fees, or termination fees. Our standard method is three month increments payable by check. We prefer annual arrangements payable by credit card. We offer a significant discount of our already low rates for annual subscriptions.

Do you offer any versions of your software for free?

No. That is not our business model. We are interested in serious users only. We have a velvet rope policy with our clients. We owe it to them not to open our systems to the public. We treat paying clients with respect and attend to their needs. We have built a clientele on quality and reliability.

Do you have a refund policy?

No. We offer the first thirty days for free. At that time we issue an invoice for the next 90 days. This is a pay as you go service. You are essentially renting the system. You can, if you wish, arrange a monthly subscription. We do not prorate invoices and/or provide refunds. You can leave any time you wish.

Are there any contracts to sign?

No. When you sign up you get the first 30 days free. If and when you choose to use the system you simply pay that month and start using it. If you decide to not to use you just quit paying. There are no contracts to sign and no hidden requirements to fulfill. This makes us accountable too. We have to deliver quality service or we won't be around. We know that.

Can we pay in advance?

Yes. You can choose any payment plan you like: monthly, quarterly, or yearly. We prefer annual subscriptions and offer a significant discount. You can choose to pay by check or credit card. We always mail invoices for your records.

Do you offer any other systems?
